Any person may become a Vidnasa if they meet the following conditions, pray the prayer of commitment, wear the Chain of the Discipline, pray in the morning and in the evening, tithe, perform charitable deeds, go on the pilgrimage to the Sacred City sometime in their life, and live according to the principles of non-violence and compassion to all creatures.

The Natek is the spiritual and temporal leader of the Vidnasa. The Natek will grant charters to Hets, Vidnasa Teachers, and also institutions such as Hagwans. The Natek also has the right to revoke charters if the conditions of the charter have been broken by those to whom the charter was given. The Natek has the responsibility to promote and protect the Discipline. The Natek will be advised by a council that will be comprised of representatvies from the Vidnasa charities, and the Hets. In the event of the death of the Natek, the Vidnasa Council will meet to select another Natek. The Natek is paid from the tithes paid by the Vidnasa. This salary is subject to the discretion of the Vidnasa Council, but is enough to support the Natek and the Natek's family and should not be extravagant. The first Natek will be Adam Tod Leverton. At the end of every period of ten years, the Natek's performance will be reviewed in a fair vote by all of the Order of the Iron Rose. If the current Natek loses this vote, another Natek will have to be chosen. The Natek can resign at any time, for any reason.

6.

Het cako di lo ze Vidnasa. Olo xawebo eskatkle di Natek adilitkle di het rad. Het rad decona d'izen ze het, robs woba olom.

A Het is a grouping of Vidnasa. It is formed by petitioning the Natek to grant the Het a charter. The Het Charter will establish the name of the Het, and its founding members.

7.

The philosophical basis of the Byen Vidnasa is found in the Great Work. The Natek is responsible for this book. It should be a living book, slowly growing over the centuries. While the Natek can add to this book, the Natek can not dictate what a Vidnasa should or should not believe or do, apart from the obligations to the Discipline and the Order of the Iron Rose. Intellectual freedom will be the hallmark of this discipline.

8.

Geds ze di Byen Vidnasa e di Natek cakona di Vab Soa Wukba , e di wu xaizeno di Mosa, e di Bander Vidnasa. Li naroda ze Vidnasa tokiona en di Vidnasabad.

The symbols of the Byen Vidnasa and the Natek will be the Great Blue Heron, and the flower known as Queen Anne's Lace, and the Vidnasa Flag. The National Shrine of the Vidnasa will be located in the Sacred City, Lodz.

9.

Jib ze di Byen Vidnasa cakona di Breyan Vidnasa geboge vo Adam Tod Leverton. Da jib ocona xebkle di Vidnasa e cakona di jib zoa azert prejon e medito.

The language of the Byen Vidnasa is Breyan Vidnasa or the Beauty of the Vidnasa invented by Adam Tod Leverton. This language will serve to unite the Vidnasa and be a sacred language of prayer and meditation.

10.

Verekazis Vidnasa tebona eckle dis itxuras gea e ekstera ze da byen su saoval. Ug cakkle di Verekazi Vidnasa, Vidnasa musot osatukle dis kelmis minden ze byen gea.

Vidnasa Teachers will be responsible for spreading the inner and outer aspects of this discipline throughout the world. In order to be a Vidnasa teacher, a Vidnasa must have completed all of the tests of the inner discipline.

Tuc cakkle di Verekazi Vidnasa lah mamoxu d'id cica, uma cakoxu e cakoxu verale duxale izenkle cakkle di Verekazi Vidnasa. Verekazi Vidnasa cako di maher publika ze da byen, e car d'olo, olos musot mamkle oloxa d'uran wukbac ul ines. Olos lah musot mamkle di juc mere bebo di wid, kum vetub, lub vewiyas, lub veyic wiyasa. Kum byen, Verekazis Vidnasa ahalo rekazikle kum di juc, e di byen econa.

A candidate to be a Vidnasa Teacher should be free from a criminal record, be honest and be genuinely spiritually called to be a teacher. A Vidnasa Teacher is the public face of this Discipline, and so, they must hold themselves to a higher moral standard than others. They must not be engaged in a profession which causes suffering, like that of a soldier, or a butcher, or meat producer. They also must not engage in sexual relations with their students. They also must not defraud their students. The money that a teacher can receive is one tenth of the tithes of all of their students. In this way, Vidnasa teachers can teach as a profession, and the Discipline will spread.

11.

Hagwan xadecona en vod kazde mit kub Vidnasa gcia . Olo cakona di toki arkitua azert diVidnasa, solus olo tej cakona di ged ze byen bezirina yoms, e sayat dackle di byen bezirina yoms a kub sen-Vidnasa. Car d'olo, Hagwans musot vickle di karakterun paba.

A Hagwan will be established in each area with a high Vidnasa population. It is a meeting place for the Vidnasa, but it is also a symbol of our way of life, and an attempt to present our way of life to the non-Vidnasa populaton. As such, Hagwans must share the following characteristics.

Toki ze Hagwan gcia suvice musot cakkle mamkle tokivuca. Toki xacucona kum ruc zeca. Kazde ze vucas zoa vucona ce ticas ya, mit sonras ze ganatlas, hicas e gids zoa.

The grounds of the Hagwan must be large enough to contain a garden. The grounds shall be laid out in a rough medicine whell. Each of the sacred plants will be planted at the four cardinal points, along with representations of the sacred animals, colours, and elements.

Nic yala ze di Hagwan mamona di vod prejon/medito nem embers ahalo komenkle prejkle meditkle lub xickle di prejonun hirina. Hagwan sadoxu use di Rad olom e di sonra ze Natek teraza.

The Hagwan building will be divided into four sections, The first section will be a gym are where people can practise and learn the yogic aspects of this Discipline, and advance in that art, or other non-violent physical arts, such as Aikido. The second section of the Hagwan will be a place where the homeless or otherwise unfortunate can be fed or find shelter in the winter. The third section of the Hagwan will be a library with the major and minor works from various (ideally all) spiritual traditions whree people can come to read and study. The fourth section of the Hagwan will be a prayer/meditation area where people can come to pray, meditate or participate in communal worship. The Hagwan should prominently display its Charter, and a picture of the current Natek.

A Charter can only be given or revoked by the Natek. There are Charters for Teachers, for Hagwans, for Hets, and for businesses. The Charters are documents which ensure the legitimacy of the Hagwan, Teacher, Het, or that the business conducts its business in accordance to Vidnasa principles. Charters can not be purchased, but donations to the Vidnasa Council are accepted. The four different charters have different characters. The Charters for teachers state their teacher, and clearly show the Leverton lineage. The Charters of Hagwans establish the Hagwan, and grant them the recognition of the Natek, and also state that the Hagwan will function in accordance with Vidnasa principles , and the principles of a Hagwan. Charters for Hets state the pilgrimage site and sacred animal and plant for the Het. Charters for businesses state that their products are produced ethically.

To answer each of your questions. This entire philosophy is all about discipline. In my opinion, discipline comes from doing little things every day, to train yourself to, when the time comes, make the correct choices, or the correct choices for you. I think that all religious traditions, at the core, have this idea. The theology and ideology is irrelevant. So in a sense, it's not ritualistic. It's not about magic, it's about discipline. The second criticism was about meat-eating. There are four different diets which have been previously mentioned, and in one of them meat eating is condoned. But generally, meat eating is not compassionate, either for the animals or for the environment. If people ate meat like they used to, by hunting or through farming practices which didn't harm the environment it would be more compassionate. So, if a person wanted to eat meat and be a Vidnasa, they could. Rules are not bad things. I am tired of this idea that you can do whatever you want and be happy. It's not true. You can't hurt other people and yourself and be happy. This is just one way, of many, to find happiness. I think that it's pretty simple and clear. And yes, I have done it. It hasn't given me magic powers or anything, or even made me happy every day, but it does give me a structure and goals.
